Целосно-функционалниот прототип е блиску до радикалниот сериски автомобил кој наскоро би требал да се најде во сериско производство. Со BladeGlider, Nissan најавува автомобил кој комбинира нулта емисија на штетни гасови со високи перформанси и револуционерен спортски дизајн.

Инженерите на Nissan работеле на BladeGlider цели две години – и за тоа време е рафиниран дизајнот и подобрени се сите технологии, за да се добие напреден, агилен и ефикасен електричен автомобил.
Она што веднаш се забележува е дека BladeGlider нуди три седишта – едно централно, наменето за возачот и зад него уште две за сопатниците. Секако, напредната конфигурација нуди исклучителни аеродинамичност, ефикасност, стабилност и управување. Задните тркала се задолжени за придвижување на BladeGlider, а секое од нив има по еден електромотор кој нуди 130 kW моќност. Моќта доаѓа од батериски модул со капацитет од 220 kW.
Вкупната системска моќност се одлични 268 коњски сили и монументални 707 Nm вртежен момент. Бидејќи BladeGlider тежи само 1300 килограми, забрзувањето до 100 километри на час трае помалку од 5 секунди.
